  1. I'd love for the rain to start drip dripping down.
  2. I wish the commentators would grill Delaney about it. It's absolutely terrible (and so is he).
  3. Get out of our bleachers, Cards fans.
  4. I've called 84 wins since before Spring Training started. Sounds good to me.
  5. Last time I saw the Cubs face Anthony Reyes was during my trip to St. Louis. We got a very satisfying win. Here's to seconds.
  6. Good stuff! I was away for most of the game, but I caught it on the radio. I'm glad to see that we were victorious.
  7. The Cardinals are still being outscored significantly. I'm just finding it hard to believe they will win anything.
  8. I'm on a high now. A loss would do a lot to get rid of it.
  9. Press conference is on CSN.
  10. I'm just amazingly happy.
  11. Wouldn't have thought that the biggest series of the year to this point would end up being against St. Louis. Beat em down, boys...
  12. These catfights are getting amazingly annoying.
  13. I know one of his sisters, and those girls weren't her. They could have been other sisters.
  14. Scoreless debut for family friend Carmen Pignatiello. Awesome!
  15. Definitely enjoying certain features of premium today. Thanks again, Vance! Did you put me on ignore again ???? There's an ignore feature? That sounds like a life saver!
  16. He's aggressive but has been getting the job done, I am impressed. Cosigned. And last night, he actually was decently patient. I don't think Fox has a future with this team, but I'd imagine there's teams out there that would be interested in him.
  17. So Marquis can't pitch with a lead... keep it tied until the bullpen comes in?
  18. people have proven that lineup order has little affect on outcomes of games Not to mention that why people have been saying this, Theriot has been terrible lately before today: Here's his August line: .288/.306/.339 And here is his last 7 days: .250/.241/.286 Both of those are coming into play today. stop ruining Cynosure's perceptions of reality! So show me your 'people' that have proven it doesn't matter who your leadoff hitter is. Bill James has pretty much proven that lineup order doesn't matter. Line-up order doesn't matter? Yea right! That's false, I can see the logic in the lead-off batter not mattering as much. But what you said is 100% completely false. You have to protect your best hitters, and that is a fact. As long as you bunch up the good hitters, you're fine. Nothing else matters. NOPE that's not what he said... he said it's been proven LINE UP ORDER DOESN'T MATTER that says nothing about bunching up the good hitters. I'm almost positive that's what he meant, as that's what Bill James says, and that's what he's been referencing.

  21. Damaged goods? He was never good in the first place. He's not damaged goods, he just sucks.
  22. I'm not sure why I turned this on, but I've already turned it back off.
