  1. Yeah, Z isn't going to make it past the 5th inning.
  2. We saw your post the first time, no need to repost it 2 minutes later Calm down guy, it was an accident. I didn't mean to post it twice. He's not your guy, buddy.
  3. I hate this ballpark and I hate Jody Gerut.
  4. Gee, I wonder if Z's arm is tired from throwing 9,000 pitches last time out.
  5. The Cardinals are already up. Damn them.
  6. Considering teams could just wait a year and sign him without giving up prospects, I'm not sure I agree with that.
  7. Do NL updates come out tomorrow?
  8. Here's a game. It's called "count the good pitchers on the Tigers roster." Get past one and I'll give you a toy.
  9. Lieber's numbers are misleading because they include his one start. As a long reliever he's been very good. And I'd venture to guess he'd be good as a starter given another chance. Replacing him after one start was just too knee-jerk. He'd be an improvement over Marquis.
  10. I'm worried about Soto, mostly because he was downright bad for the last two to two and a half weeks of May.
  11. But... the gold gloves!
  12. Even if the May pace continues, it's still one of the best offenses in baseball. I'm just concerned about the dropoffs by both Fukudome and Geo this month. D-Lee too.
  13. If the Indians continue to flounder, it's quite likely he'd be available. What would the Cubs have that would interest Cleveland? It would almost certainly have to include Hill and Pie. Is that worth it? What else would it take? Personally, I think the Indians will just keep him and enjoy the draft picks. But we'll see.
  14. His IsoD is absolutely a cause for concern, I just don't really know how to account for it.
  15. These are only the ones I can think of when it comes to players that were popular targets on this board. Please add more that I'm missing. Let's have a look. Brian Roberts .267 .356 .431 Khalil Greene .210 .255 .322 Ryan Church .309 .376 .527 Kaz Matsui .259 .344 .335 Adam Dunn .253 .409 .542 Jhonny Peralta .233 .294 .461 Edgar Renteria .277 .314 .377 Erik Bedard 9 GS 4.08 ERA 1.226 WHIP Bartolo Colon 3 GS 3.50 ERA 1.167 WHIP
  16. Honestly, some of the people (just from a few pages that I read), seem to be legitimately knowledgeable baseball fans, but the admin is a freaking [expletive]. From what I've seen over there, he considers negative talk about the White Sox or their players to be against the rules. He threatened to ban one poster for suggesting that Konerko's decline could be related to steroids.
  17. Get Eyre out of there as quickly as possible. He's going to get rocked unless the umpire saves him like last inning. He doesn't have anything today.
  18. Am I crazy? Didn't that land in the back of the bleachers?
  19. White Sox lose on a Gabe Gross walkoff shot.
  20. Someone else said it in another game thread, but it bears repeating. Wuertz' statistics say he's good, but for the life of me, I can't remember ever seeing him pitch well.
  21. Dang it. That really spoils Gallagher's outing, at least statistically. Would've been nice to get more runs last inning.
