    Haha, WSI is a fun read right now. The two extremes are that the league is conspiring to help the Cubs or that this was in fact a steal for Oakland.

    I think it's still worth exploring a trade for another starter since we still have pretty much all of our valuable chips. What if AJ Burnett was added to the rotation as well? Man oh man.

    I think his '99 season has a lot to do with people overrating him.

    No one actually evaluates Derek Jeter correctly. They either vastly overrate or underrate him. This generally depends on whether or not they're Yankees fans. As it is, Jeter is still an excellent shortstop. One of the best of all time. Jeter without a shadow of a doubt.

    I'd love to have him, but I never got much inside info from Meph. Granted, I haven't talked to him on AIM for quite a couple of months now. Of course, Greinke would be wonderful.

    Wait, what? You realize those numbers aren't even close to each other, right? Yes, but that doesn't mean Hill is "better" per se, his ERA may be a hell of a lot "lower", and the WHIP are completely "different", but all things being "equal" they are the "same" and none is "better" than the "other". whoa...i am not one of the "Hill can do no wrong" folks on here, but holy crap man...i have seen hill on his game and it is nasty, marshall is good, but hill can and has been dominant... That's a very large sarchasm right there.

    Webb and Lincecum will both be unavailable to pitch in the ASG. This could definitely explain things. I think this just might be true.
