C seems next most likely but F or B still possible. so scenarios: Spain most likely gets 3rd from E (who knows?) possibly Netherlands if Croatia pips last spot (seems very unlikely to me) Group C Winner (England?) could get Netherlands (most likely) Group F 3rd (?) or Group E 3rd - clearly England wants the latter 2 scenarios but enough to tank? Kane is very good at what he does - definitely one of the top strikers. I don't think he's slipped so much as he never was as good as Foden is. Strikers get over-rated. See Haaland, Erling. For me, it's a bit of a conundrum because if you don't have that guy that puts it in the net, you won't be successful so the striker is absolutely necessary - but at the same time, they are useless if you don't have people who get them the ball. Other players influence the run of play far more than the striker but the striker decides the game - ask a Liverpool fan. Side note, hard to argue the idea that the EPL is better than the Bundesliga if you watched Europe at all. The Bundesliga is definitely higher scoring though.
