the law actually says interferes with the play - I see what you're saying but I think the call was correct. If Rodman (I think it was Rodman) isn't there, that play isn't any different

I was thinking about this and I guess I find I usually root for the American only because I don't know anything about any of the athletes so have to go on something. But some of them seem like they aren't very likeable so a great performance always trumps the nationality of the winner for me

I was impressed with their performance against France actually. They were not dominated and hit the woodwork 2 or 3 times.

it's so great though that you can watch what you want to watch and nothing else. No sitting through hours of gymnastics or rhythmic swimming to watch the things I like. I'm really going to enjoy this!

I honestly don't know how I feel about Southgate. I do think experience matters in a national team coach as for many of the reasons TT pointed out, it's very challenging. you have to adapt your system to your players as you can't recruit players for your system.

what were you expecting? Seems like the Cubs targeted players they believe may develop. Couldn't really expect a bunch of known superstars.
