    A dominant run game with Benson will keep the Bears offense on the field, and the opponents offense off the field.

    What if the defense gives up 35 points? The defense won't give up 35 points. Benson will conistently get 4-5 yards every carry. The Bears will possess the ball more. Grossman will be less likely to turn the ball over. The opposing offense won't get a chance to score that much.

    If the Bears give the ball to Benson 25+ times a game, they will not lose at home during the playoffs. It is that simple.

    David Stern better take action ASAP. THe problem with the NBA is they let crap like this stir, then when it manifests itsself into a full fledged brawl, they wonder why.

    Agree to dissagree I guess. But what about this scenario, could we trade either Brown or Ogun this offseason without a cap hit, then use this money to re-sign Briggs? I have no clue as to NFL Salary Cap logistics, so this might not be possible.
