    Exactly. The refs are treating QBs like a whiny 7-yr old ballerina. Dick Butkus couldn't play in todays game. He would be banned by the 2nd quarter

    This is even a bigger issue(Benson vs. Jones) than the Rex vs. Griese debate. We really don't know what Griese can do. We do know what Benson can do, rip off 3-5 yards on every touch. Not using that is doing an injustice to the team.

    The Rams are terrible vs. the Run. Thomas Jones should eat bench with that 1st half performance.

    When somone can't hack it at U of I, they are not that smart football wise. Huh? Vince Lombardi wouldn't have been able to pick the Illini off the bottom of the Big 10. Ron Zook would have U of I in a bowl game next season.
