  1. If that were all a QB had to do, that would be great. What is most troubling to me about Grossman's progression though are his splits. Since week 5, including the playoffs, Grossman has thrown 13 TDs, tossed 20 INTS, and lost 7 fumbles. 27 TO's in 14 games with a 51% completion percentage-he has to figure out a way to halve that number of TO's and greatly raise his completion percentage, and he doesn't have much time to do it left entering his 5th year. He certainly might develop, but NFL history doesn't give him that much chance-I hope for all of your sakes that Grossman is an exception to the rule. ^^^ This is getting annoying.
  2. Kerry and Mark are not the only pitchers who use the towel drill as a training exercise. Thank you. That bit of information will one day lead to my promotion at work. Laundry mat employee? That is Laundry Mat Manager...thank you. Is the laundry mat the thing you wipe your feet on before you go into the laundromat? Yes, I manage all the laundry mat's at the local laundromat. Making sure they are clean and fresh. It is a good gig..401K..etc.

  5. By 50 pitches do they mean 50 actuall baseballs, or 50 towels?
  6. $2 per ticket...how will we ever survive?
  7. any update on Noel Devine. I don't follow recuriting that much, but I have seen vids of this kid...wow.
  8. I don't know if this has been posted, but I read a rumor in the Sun Times, that the Bears are gonna go after Eric Steinbech this offseason. woot!
  9. Doesn't Lovie have to agree with the defensive and offensive game plans going into the Super Bowl? I'm sure. Actually for Riveria, I should probably be griping about his in game adjustments, which I'm sure he is responsible for. As for Turner, I'm pretty sure Lovie wanted to run the ball more than they did.
  10. Like his offensive counterpart, Riveria's game plan was brutal. I can understand the strategy at the beginning of the game, (deep cover 2) not giving up the big play, but when it became apparent that Manning would have no problem shredding that coverage with the underneath stuff, he refused to adjust. After halftime, I would have gone with all out blitz packages and trusted Peanut and Vash to answer the call. It may have worked, it may have not, but you just cant sit back and get your ass kicked without doing anything! If you are gonna go down, go down swinging.
  11. Not a big loss at all.
  12. David Carr is trash, no thanks.
  13. The AFC section of that will defintely be the toughest part. We'll have to wait for the offseason to play itself out to see how tough the NFC will be. I think the Cowboys game could be really interesting depending on what Rivera does. The Chargers part is tough, akin to going to New England, but I'm not sure Broncos, Chiefs, Raiders is going to pose any more of a threat than Jets, Dolphins, Bills. Broncos might be tough. Cutler is going to be bad to the bone when he gets more experience and confidence. Be nice if the Bears had him instead of Rexy. What has Cutler proven in the NFL?
  14. So so? That is being generous, more like downright brutal.
  15. I heard Dave Toub say something like "The Ball is in their court" in terms of him coming back. Earth to Dave...It is pretty easy being a ST coach when you have all world Devin Hester as your return man. I'll give him some credit for Gould, but Maynard has been solid his entire career. And the kick coverage was brutal at times in the playoffs. So Dave, get off your high horse.
  16. Too bad Griese can't make that throw.
  17. Is it Kruetz or Turner that doesn't want the shotgun? I don't know at this point. It makes me want to bang my head into the wall!
  18. Here is my list: 1) Retain Briggs 2) Shop around either Alex Brown or Ogun too see what you can get in terms of draft picks 3) Attempt to trade up for Reggie Nelson, or Laron Landry in the draft 4) Draft an OT, and OG with the next picks 5) Round off the draft with - a fast TE/WR hybrid type(aka..Vicent Jackson from a few years back) -a raw mobile QB -corner/DT/LB 5) Send Ron Turner to a coaching clinic so he can learn the shotgun formation and some other plays.(I agree with the sentiment that even though his play calling irritates me, changing coordinators might not be the best thing for Grossman)
  19. Good post. I agree 100%.
  20. Fire Ron Turner.
  21. Man, I hope the Cowboys take Riveria...please take him. PLEASE!
  22. congrats to the Colts, kicked our asses. ohh, and both our coordinators, turner and riveria, garbage. complete garbage. I could care less if either leave.
  23. Adrian Griffin has no business in the NBA.
