    That's a bit of an overreaction. Sheesh. In terms of production/payroll...I'd say it is a fair assesment.

    he would have been out by 20 feet, and he couldn't see into the future to know that jones and lee were going to choke. A better question would be why was Jacque batting third. He is a terrible, terrible hitter. he's not THAT bad. Jockstrap still should not be hitting 3rd.

    I agree that Hughes is great at always keeping you informed. This reminds me of a few times that I have seen a Sox game, and when the game is going bad for the them, Hawk Harrelson will litterally sulk, and not talk for minutes at a time....pretty pathetic if you ask me.

    I don't like Will Ohman and I will boo him every chance I get. Part of it is that he comes off very "smug" at times, even reporters have spoke about this.

    I don't know about curses...but at times I really think this team can't win. When the pitching is on, the offense is off, when the offense is on, the pitching is off...no synergy, ever... They tried throwing money at the problem...obviously it isn't working...I dunno.....if this team finishes below .500 again I'd say blow it all up.....bring in Billy Beane or a Billy Beane disciple and try that method.
