  1. If Arod could challenge Bonds record of 73*, it would be a great thing for baseball.
  2. That lineup will still get owned by the likes of Kyle Loshe and Braden Looper.
  3. Fire Gerald Perry
  4. Probably gonna switch to the Red Sox shorlty. Can't take much more.
  5. I'm on the official fire Gerald Perry Bandwgn.
  6. I blame Cedeno, he is the [expletive] that overslid the bag.
  7. Coming from the American to National league, I wouldn't be suprised if Lilly had a very good season.
  8. He's an extremely bad baseball player. Hey he is a grinder.
  9. Len and Bob made a good point the other day, by getting some veteran pitchers it gives Larry the time to work on more game strategy with them.......vs last year when he was basically giving a crash course in Major League pitching 101 every other day.
  10. Little off topic, but I heard somewhere that Theriot was amoung the leage leaders in Runs per Plate Appearence, is this correct, is BBTF the only site that keeps this stat?
  11. I'd laugh if we scored like 10 runs today...lol
  12. Well there's really nothing you can do about that. I mean seriously, can you think of any possible solution to that problem? I sure can't. A fishing trip?
  13. Agree 100%. Early last year he simply wasn't getting it done and I think people had a right to question whether he could turn it on at the big league level. But it is awesome that he has finally broken through. Does anyone know how long Hill is signed? I think it would make sense to approach him shortly and see if we can lock him up to a long term deal, maybe around 10 mill/season if the Cubs take action now. Please don't agree with me if you're going to say stuff like that. People were dead wrong with what they said about him, I just don't think it's helpful to keep rehashing that point. :?: He wasn't getting it done the first half of 06
  14. That is very cool of you to offer them at face value......you could probably get alot more from a broker given the awesome weather we are expecting this weekend.

  16. Wow..this is amazing, a pro-active manager. I swear that nitwit before seriously stole money from the Cubs for 4 years. Man its tough...we can't hit lefites cause we ain't go no left handed BP pitcher...
