What I don't get is it seemed Lou was grooming Murton for that number 2 slot all Spring long. Who'd Murton piss off? Maybe he is afraid the Sun might peek out today, that Murton, man...can't take the heat ya know?

There is no use for Izturis to be starting. Throw teh "defense" agrument out the window, how in the hell are you helping your starting pitcher with this automatic 0-4 in the lineup every night? He is an abomination, a disgrace. I loath his existence as a Chicago Cub. If I was GM he would be immedialy releaseed. Keep going out every night and getting your but kicked 4-0, 3-1, but its ok "cause he is slick with the glove". There is no reason any "sane" GM in baseball would carry him on a roster. START RIOT!

Yeah, figures. Anyone that objectively watches the game can tell Chicago simply outplaying them and is a younger quicker team. Ben Wallace & Hinrich/Sefolosha are giving Shaq/D Wade fits. D Wade appears to be a shell of what he was last season. Antoine Walker might be one of the worst players in the NBA right now.

Midseason, I thought it would be a good idea for Paxson to trade Deng to get Gasol, I'll eat crow on that one....Deng is turning to a legit superstar before our eyes. Right now I'd rank him right around Carmelo in terms of top young SF's.

Do explain......is it Lou's fault that Soriano only has one measly RBI on the season, or that D-Lee is still awaiting his first HR, or Zambrano is pitching more like a fourth starter....or the fact that we could somehow have two .330+ hitters and still not be able to score runs. Come on, the talent is there for this team to be winning games, the players need to be accountable. QFT...This is one sad sack of losers.

I was gonna with the rest of the decade actually. Might wanna just add in 2010-2019 too... hey so are we going to start reusing the decade number's naming thing.. like the 1920's are just called the 20's...etc? just curious...this question keeps me awake at night, sometimes. I've been wondering that as well. "The 2020's" just doesn't sound right does it. phew..glad I'm not the only one wondering about that.
