Theriot belongs in the starting lineup until he proves differently. He is hitting a ton and his spark seems to add to the total offense. His only mistakes this year have come from over-hustling. This shouldn't be even up for debate, IMO. The only way Cesar should ever see the field is for a late game defensive replacement, and that is it.

As long as Izturis is planted firmly on the bench, I think that is possible.

I'm so dissapointed in Lily for giving up those 2 runs, really I expected him to give up 0 runs the remainder of the season. Terrible.

Good god I hope so... So when Izterrible loses his job, that will be 4 Mil on the bench, add in extra $$$ that Floyd will get, plus the $$$ Prior is getting...we will have a ton of dead money. Money that could have been used to close the Zambrano deal before the tribune sale. This is why Jim Hendry is one of the worst GM's in the game.

I'd prefer Kenny Irons to Lorenzo Booker but that couldn't happen in this draft, sadly. The Chargers select WR Aundrae Allison, East Carolina. Still would have gone Booker. FSU backs usually do better in the NFL vs. College. They mismanage them down there. -
