    Generally, a 4 run lead shouldn't be an issue for a closer, but then again, Dumpster is anything but a closer. He lost us the game today. No one else.

    Is he going off on anyone specific (Bullpen) or just the team in general? I actually think today makes this weekend's series huge. We need to get into it emotionally and what better way to get it started than at home against the Sox. Just in general, and also has diverted some rage to Barry Bonds.

    Jogging in to let Theriot catch it. I don't know if they were just waiting because they thought he had it or because they got a really bad jump on the pop up. The CF has to be the captain out there and know the situation and call off the 2B and make the play.

    Basically that last play(the sac Fly) is a microcosm of why this team underachieves year after year. As long as crap like that continues this team will not win. Period.

    Why? Gerald Perry currently has us at 2nd in batting and, more importantly, 4th in OBP in the NL. This is a big improvement. Well I don't think we should fire any coaches right now, I'm just saying the pitching has been fantastic for the most part, while the hitting has been a big dissapointment.
