  1. The Cubs should seriously look into this.
  2. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
  3. The king of swing Glen The Miller's Crossing is named after A glass of Miller Genuine Draft Don't forget Andrew Miller.
  4. I propose we trade Alex Brown for Reggie Wayne.
  5. Will Hendry finally stick a fork in Miller already?
  6. I wish I was a sportswriter so I could make up crazy rumors.
  7. This is a BS rumors. No way it goes down.
  8. Eyre should have been the first Lefty to go.
  9. May I say... I know nothing about him except the info provided in this thread but let me be the first to say he would become my favorite position player on the team... Welcome to the Fukudome!!!!!! If only Haray was around to take a stab at his name.
  10. To be fair, Sergio has a 2.25 ERA in 40 innings this season with a 1.10 WHIP and a .235 BAA. I don't believe he will keep up that pace, but if he does, thats another knife in the heart from the Juan Pierre trade.
  11. Fukudome Awesome!
  12. I get mad alot when some "lesser known" pitcher owns the Cubs, but it happens to alot of teams, we just notice it because we follow the Cubs day in and day out. Yesterday: Sergio Mitre held the D-Rays 3 Runs of 5 hits Kason Gabbard held the Braves to 2 runs in 5 innings(MLB debut) Bradon McCarthey(who has been terrible so far) gave up 4 hits and 1ER against Houston Tyler Clippard of the Yankees won his MLB debut vs the Mets giving up 1 ER over 6 innings
  13. How they won the WS last year still blows my mind. Just get in the playoffs and go from there I guess. Their outfield is utter trash and has been for quite some time now.
  14. No. It is in the best interest of the Cubs for that to happen.
  15. I kept telling Sox fans I know it was only a matter of time before Aardsma imploded.
  16. Peavy has already struck out 5 Cubs. He got them when Piniella was jotting a potential lineup on a knapkin. He is good.
  17. He wasn't. Chris Robinson was traded for Neifi, the Cubs drafted Jake Fox in the third round in 2003. My bad. Still a good trade IMO
  18. and to think he was traded for Neifi Perez. Wow.
  19. Actually that's just a single combo. A double would entail two combinations. Not if you're talking fastfood, where a double combo could simply be a double cheeseburger combo meal. I'll trust Jim's expertise in regards to that issue.
  20. I'm not ready to crown their ass, we took 2-3 from the Brewers first week of the season, all starters played in the series, who takes the first week of the season like its BullS**!, BULLS***! THE BREWERS ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WHERE!
  21. Well it is from closer(most important pen job) to 5th starter. I view it as Lumbergh moving Milton to various spots of the building. http://img516.imageshack.us/img516/1977/loulumbreghvx7.jpg Hey Ryan, what's happening Um, I'm going to have to ask you to go ahead and move to the rotation again, if you could do that it would be greeat. Thanks a bunch
  22. When Hendry pulls off the "double combo"(Losing Z this offseason and not trading him for anything in return), Price be will be quite handy.
  23. Is there another Phil Hughes that I'm not aware of? Because the Yankees wouldn't trade theirs for 10 Carlos Zambranos. There is a Phillip Hughes, and a Phil Hughes. Same pitcher, or two different ones...you decide.
