I'm willing to wager that Lovie Smith gets the same type of hate mail lettters that Dusty does. So why is this being brought up? Cop out. Simply that. Lets get the sympathy vote out there to cover up the fact that Dusty is the worst tatical manager in the game.

Interesting...one manager loves to teach. Another manager loves to sit in the dugout, suck his toothpick, and play with his son. I have a fealing Joe will not be the Cubs manager. Joe has a such a commitment to winning.While Hendry, and MacPhail, have shown a commitment to failure. Its what they are. Failures in life. They realish it. They love it. Jimy Williams will be the next Cubs manager and this mess will conitnue on for another decade.

Well, he didn't exactly fault Mateo last night. In fact, he was very complimentary of Mateo's pitching after the game. I bet that killed him too...complimenting a young pitcher. Probably had to brush his teeth aftewards. :wink:
