    I disagree with everything this post stands for. When a player are slumping like the 3-6 hitters in the lineup. Forcing the player to swing and try to hit the ball to the opposite field often helps. Most slumps are the result of a player pressing. Putting players in motion help two fold. It takes away the thinking aspect of the at bat. Second it force the defense to be moving around and can create more holes for the hitter. The Cubs have had the leadoff hitter on quite a bit lately and they seem to die on first. Lee,Aram, and Soto are in really bad slumps. I feel the best approach to getting out the slump is by forcing the action. You can see how well it is going for the cubs to hit a three run homer.

    Lou I have an idea. Hit and Run. Put players in motion. Still that would require Lou to actually stop waiting for a 3 run hr.

    My problem with Lou is that he is waiting for the three run homer. There has not been one. So at some point you must hit and run. Kosuke get's a base hit and he never sent him. How many F^%% double plays must Lee and Theriot hit into. Lee has not hit a homer since Soriano got hurt. When was the last time Aramis came through with a big hit. He must get his thumb out his butt and put some players into motion.

    Cedeno ,Soriano, Murton, Lee has hit Duke pretty well. Derosa has struggled against duke.

    if by great you mean they should be quiet during the game then yes Yeah, apparently I'm the only one who likes them. Oh well... meh the commercials are kinda funny but not during the game I can see that. Reed's got some crazy occassional pop. Only for fouls

    Aren't we told here to attack the argument and not the person? This is insulting to people who like his show. Please refrain from personal attacks. Murph is an idiot and does not post here. Ok so then I can say yo momma is an idiot? She doesn't post here does she? No why is she a idiot? You are they idiot if you do not see the difference.     he had 19 starts where allowed under 4 earned runs 8 starts with er over 4 runs 3 at 4 runs. If he can go out there in give the cubs a game of 6 inning and less then 4 runs. That is good enough to win. A game of 6/3 is a quality start, but it's not really putting your team in a position to win, moreso he's keeping them in the game. Especially in the playoffs, if that was against Webb, the Cubs would likely lose if he gives up 6/3, we'll see about Owings. So what webb probably wins anyway. Webb is an Ace. Hill would probably be arz 2nd best starter. He is pitching once. I am not using the quality start format for two reason. The most I expect is 6 innings short of him dominating them. 5 inning with 3 runs allowed should give the cubs a chance. I expect Z and Lilly to win this series for the cubs if they can. Hill is still the better then anyone not named webb,z,or Lilly.
