    I despise Russell Branyan. I still remember the home run he hit against Z to break up his no-hitter last season. That was the same game that Lee and Young went at it.

    I'll miss Gallagher and Murton. I never had much faith in Patterson and with Soto we're set at catcher for a long time. Fingers crossed that Harden stays healthy. Good deal.

Ryan Theriot (SS) This team is so good that you can keep mixing and matching and still come up with a very strong lineup.

    If we're completely disregarding announcing, I'd pick ESPN or FOX. They have the best production quality and give the game a playoff feel.

    Didn't read any of the thread, but just wanted to say that a lineup of... Soriano Fukudome Lee Hamilton Ramirez Soto DeRosa Theriot/Cedeno makes me want to cry.

    I may be coming around as well. I'm all for Cedeno starting ahead of DeRo at this point. Same, but I'd want Cedeno starting at shortstop and Theriot sliding over to second.

    This reminds me of every Cubs game last season. They jump out to an early lead, but are quietly dominated by a mediocre lefty the rest of the way. Meanwhile, the other team chips away and eventually pulls ahead. The Cubs manage to stage a rally late in the game, but fail to score in the most excruciating way possible. But hopefully because I said that they'll prove me wrong and come from behind again. And look, a double by Z as I type this. Good start.
