Isn't it a pretty safe bet that just about every pitcher will have 2 starts in the finals, and some might even get three starts? Guess I didn't look back in the thread to see that it is 2 weeks.. Either way, I like getting 3 starts each over 2 weeks out of Roy and Kazmir!

I really, really, really hate that something like that will likely decide the matchup. Oh well. I don't want to be too confident, but it'd be nice to see GHS or NSBB not make it to the division finals IMO. :)

The shitty thing is, if I get to the division finals, I won't have any of my studs with 2 starts. That means a bullcrap piecemeal week. Although, if I can pull it off (doubtful) I'll have Halladay and Kazmir for 2 each during the finals.

Up 70 with a 1 start disadvantage the rest of the way. Barring any -20 or so starts, I look to be in decent shape.

Up about 45 pts, and only a 1 start disadvantage. Could be a close week. We each have 4 bats and 1 starter today. However, tomorrow GHS has 3 starts to my one. I'll have a 1 start advantage going into the weekend. Hope I'm even at that point, and I'll feel safe.

Well crap.. Only up about 60 points with a 2 start disadvantage. I hate my pitching matchups this week. I hope at least one more of adam's pitchers tanks. I'm not confident in the lead I have now. At least Volstad got positive points... blah. On the other hand, at least some of his players are sitting and thank God for Hanley Ramirez!

Pending Errors, I'm up 33 after day 1 with a 1 start disadvantage. I'll definitely take it.

ok, that's a bit of a reach. i'd probably be happy with 20 points from him vs. the mets. worst part about the injury is him possibly losing his second start. He had what, 55 pitches and 1 hit through 5. He's known to pitch a complete game or two. How is that a reach? I said could have...not would have.

Don't count on it happening again. My pitchers are so off and on this year, it's unreal. I hate having to throw Sheets today vs the Mets!

Tootielicious vs GHS NSBB vs Alamo Stealth I don't like who my pitchers are going up against this week, but I do like seeing that Peavy and Liriano only have 1 start each.

We're going to be playing each other 2 weeks in a row.. Yippee! i think you'll beat me in the playoffs. i won't have anybody with two starts, so i'll have to start all my guys, regardless of matchups. I'll have Sheets for 2 that week, and possibly Garza too...

actually, I think you want raw to win. you can only win the division if raw wins and then loses next week and you overtake him in points while beating tootie. if tootie wins, you win if raw loses again next week and you beat tootie. so, I guess you mostly need raw to lose his last game. so stop cheering against HBC! yeah, i think there are two scenarios where i could win the division...1) raw going 0-2, me going 2-0 or 2) raw going 1-1, me going 2-0 and passing raw in points. But if Raw goes 1-1 and the one of those losses is to me, and you go 2-0 it'd be a 3 way tie, which would come down to me based on points, correct???

I don't get this... what are you trying to say? I think I may be stupid tonight. Anyway.. In my matchup this week with Raw, I have to win to do anything. If I lose this week and win next week, while Raw wins this week and loses the last week, Raw gets me on H2H. If I win, it's for sure coming down to my matchup in the last week with Adam, who could then win the division if he goes 2-0. I'm really enjoying the closeness of this league to end the season. Makes it really fun to pay attention to every game.
