Lawrie, since he played the number of games necessary at 2b last year, has been my 2b all year. Lawrie hasn't been at 2b this year but should still be allowed due to his status from last year per our rules. Arod got hurt today and for some reason it's making me take Lawrie off of 2b and won't let me put him back there. Can someone fix this so I can put my lineup in today?

Need to know for sure how many starts so I can plan the week accordingly.

The west needs to really step it up and help me out! I'm out of the top 3 in the division with the most points scored, the best possible head to head record, etc. I better even step it up vs my division the next go round.

:shock: 21 dingers and he's been riding your bench? Yep... he sure has been. Felt more comfortable starting Arod, Fielder and Dunn over him. Arod has now found his way to the bench. Dunn has put up too many big weeks to sit him.

As I would have too. I'm in the market for a SP, have been for a while, but I didn't even offer for Price because he's new and I wanted to give him a chance to get up to speed. Hell, I'd have given my first, the prospect of his choice including Lawrie or Jennings who have 2 exempt years left, Encarnacion if he needed a position player for now.. That already trumps what he got for both Price AND Miggy... If it came down to it, I'd have probably thrown in a first round prospect pick too. My trade would have been for one freaking guy, not 2.

I agree about not breaking any rules, but that trade was so lopsided I feel you've taken advantage of a new member. Not anything fair about that deal for the new guy at all.

I vote to have this trade turned around. This is a bs deal. A prospect pick and a first rounder are not worth Miggy and Price. Very lopsided considering other than Walker, you gave up nothing. Walker is just a good prospect, nothing more.

Those players alone are marginal for one of those...Price or Cabrera. To make it fair, both the 1st and 2nd round ML picks and would have to be traded - minimum. I'd say it'd have to be first, second, and 3rd. Two stars are at least worth that, and yes, Price is star level.

now wait a minute. waivers weren't on so people complained about that. then i turned waivers on and there were complaints about what day waivers were set for. so i changed the day that waivers run and more complaints come in. and just to remind you, i joined the league just over a year ago and don't really understand how the waiver process works. Sorry, wasn't calling you out specifically, just was complaining about how all the constant issues have made this league a lot less friendly and fun than it was when we started in 2001.

Thanks Juan for the clarification. Being an "original" member of this league, I have to voice that I think it's going to hell. Granted, a lot of us in our mid 30's are reaching a time where we can't contribute a lot like we use to be able to, but the constant bitching and complaining about the rules are 1000x what they use to be. Just changing a waiver day to Sunday and messing with all the free agents out there make this not as fun as it use to be.

Why can't I pick up anyone to replace an injured player? In the past, waivers were limited to those players that had been dropped within the waiver period. This makes no sense.

Then blame that on [expletive] auto pick that I had to do in order to keep the draft moving. I'd have rather picked up nobody. Stupid...

If you consider that a decision hadn't been made yet on Alex White, who got shipped to the minors there after, it was legal. Regardless, are we only using 4 starts this week?

Well, now we're about to add Chris Lowery as an assistant. So 2 loser coaches is better than one???? I do hope they bring in Gottleib as an assistant and give him a shot. I was not at all worried that they'd make him the HC, but as an assistant, I think he'd be a great recruiter due to his family recruiting ties and his recognizable face from ESPN. They have to do something with the deadbeats we've brought on thus far to get players to KSU.
