  2. Day game after a night game, Lee was in visible pain last night, he's not swinging real well, and Dusty still won't sit him? Yeesh. I don't care about his lifetime stats against him. The guy needs a break.
  3. Mr. Sisk- What was your reaction when you found out you were getting a second chance with a Major League organization and what would you say were your goals heading into Peoria? Was there one thing that you really wanted to show the Cubs? Also, what did the organization tell you (if anything) about where you were going to fit in and what they wanted/expected from you? Keep up the good work!
  4. The strikeout was out #2. Burrell was not a runner, there was no force at home. It was ruled a PB and should have been a CS...
  5. You tag home and then run towards third in case you get a runner off guard.
  6. Barrett dropped a swinging strike that was in the zone. No way he should have missed that catch. The ball bounced away but not by much. Rollins was stuck 45 feet away from home and Barrett gloved the ball beyond the plate. But instead of running him back, he chucked the ball wide to third, Ramirez gloved it, and had absolutely no chance at Rollins at home.
  7. Still trying to figure out how Barrett dropped the ball to begin with... What a terrible defensive game. The Phillies earned maybe one of those runs. Maybe.
  8. Well that was incredibly stupid, Barrett. Wow.
  9. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE COVER FIRST BASE? Yeesh.
  10. We should talk sometime... Sure hope Dempster doesn't have to pitch tonight. Nice swing, Neifi...
  11. Navin has an internet crush on Slugger? Pft. Everyone has an internet crush on me. And O_O, he told me at the swing set during recess. Yes, Murton did open up on that borderline outside 3-2 fastball. Should've stayed closed and gone to right. Good observation. And the kickball game was the place to be, not the swing set.
  12. Navin has an internet crush on Slugger? Why don't you ask her? No, no. I think everyone should PM him and ask. Get it straight from the source when he comes back.
  13. Daytona won 4-2 thanks to Salas going 3-4 with 2 doubles and a HR for 3 RBIs.
  14. CHEAP BROKEN BAT DOUBLE!!! WOO!!!!!!
  15. Walker has gotten some terrible calls tonight.
  16. Eric with a walk and HR (his 10th of the year)! Fuld doubled and scored on an error in the first.
  17. Well that was nowhere near the plate. Williams didn't pitch THAT bad. If you take away the bad defense (failed to cover first, Ramirez's blunder on the bunt, Neifi's failed DP), that is...
  18. That was one first pitch that I would have liked to see him swing at. Not so much the second one...
  19. Thank you, 2nd base bag. Come on, Mikey...
