Not sure what to think about the deal. He improved last year because he surprisingly gave up fewer HRs (23 in 2005, 31 in fewer IP in 2004) and had a lower BABIP (.263 in 2005, about .283 in 2004, and .265 in 2003 in 71 IP). Of course, given the market, and his ability to eat some innings, it's not that bad. I'm not too familiar with their pitching prospects, though.
