    NY won the toss and will receive.

    If the offensive line allows him to, he will. That's the big key to the game. That and not getting beat on special teams.

    Gametime temp of around 50, cloudy, and just a slight breeze. Wesley is inactive again, but Berrian will play! Joe and Boone are also inactive.

    HAHA. Oh man. I flipped to the UCLA/ASU game for a minute and all of a sudden the PBP guy starts to issue an apology. It started something like "We at Fox Sports Net would like to issue an apology for a statement we previously made, or rather I previously made. I made a comment about the United States Postal Service and would like to apologize for that. The United States Postal Service is an essential part of our lives and they are very reliable. They deliver x pieces of mail every day and provide a very improtant service to this country..." And it just went on for like 30 more seconds. It took up about a minute of the broadcast. I just wish I had heard the original comment. That and how much the guy got chewed out by the station.

    I thought it was more obvious live, but after rewatching the play, the ball went directly sideways. That was a fumble.

    Concession line. I hear it gets long if you wait until the end of the quarter. The only time the receiver had the ball close to him was when the defender's arm pinned it against him.

    But if contact is made and the defender has their back to the play, they are going to call it every time. There was contact? It looked like they brushed hands at best. He prevented Manningham from coming to the ball. That's interference. Manningham made no effort/wasn't able to come back to the ball. If he did, there would have been contact.

    I was impressed by Northwestern's defense. Aside from two huge plays, they dominated. Heck, they even had a pass rush. The offense had two bad unforced turnovers and a terrible play on special teams which led to a safety and I wish the offense would've gone for the throat towards the end, but an overall good win.

    A terrible, terrible call by the refs to turn an obvious travel with no contact into a foul (oh the profanity heard over the radio from Carmody) and yet another offensive rebound on a missed free throw cost Northwestern a chance to win it at the end.

    Northwestern down just 2 at Stanford with 3 minutes left. Too bad it's only on TV out there.

    Sounds like Hester will be out there for kickoffs on Sunday. And apparently Tommie Harris injured his left hand in the Arizona game and is still recovering from that. He was also listed on the injury report earlier this week with a back injury, but he has since been removed. Wesley is doubtful and Joe and Reid are questionable.
