  1. Princeton offense is all we can do with this team, but I'll take the win. 1 step closer to the NIT baby! ( ) I don't get why Coble isn't getting more playing time. I know Carmody hasn't been pleased with him, but if this season is about anything, it's learning with experience. I'd love to be there Tuesday night, but at least I should just about be getting home from work around tipoff.
  2. 12 man on the field is auto 1st down. thats usc's fault. they took the other one because of the spot. Wrote that before the illegal substitution penalty. The PI was pretty bogus.
  3. And the emergence of Gable and Washington at running back. USC better run the ball better tonight agains them. If they become predictable OSU zone pass defense becomes better in predictable situations. You have to mix it up against them. Ohio State will beat USC. You forgot the easily part and the :( part. Of course, their defense hasn't been that impressive the past two games.
  4. This drive brought to you by the officials.
  5. Since when do these officials call penalties on linemen?
  6. He'd make a great scrappy white guy in the majors according to Musburger.
  7. Back to back generous spots there. The one on third down was quite questionable.
  8. Aww. Don't go to break. I want to hear more about freakin' James Caan.
  9. lost your name? Pawned it. How can an offensive lineman place both of his hands on the back of a defensive lineman for a good two seconds and not get called on it?
  10. Hi, Drew Stanton.
  11. 82-62 after 3.
  12. These refs blow. 17 FTs for the Knicks in the 3rd quarter alone...and there's still 6:49 left.
  13. The Bulls are blowing out the Knicks at the half 56-34.
  14. I dunno. Rex. Mike Brown. Bradley. To a lesser extent, Benson. We've had important players miss pretty significant time. We're just so stacked/deep that we've been able to soften the blows. For this year, Berrian, Ogunleye, Hillenmeyer, and other members of the secondary. Scott and Clark have also been banged up pretty good for a couple of games.
  15. Among leadoff hitters.
  16. Unbelievable. You weigh 300 pounds and you decided to walk into the endzone without protecting the ball. Everyone saw that coming from a mile away. Spurrier's team is finding new ways to mess up. Didn't think that was possible.
  17. What is Spurrier smoking? And can he give Beecher some? That kid looked scared out of his mind on the first play. Got lucky, though.
  18. South Carolina is handing this game to Clemson on a silver platter. This time it's on Spurrier.
  19. Always great to be inside the 20 with about 15 seconds left in the half, about to break a tie, and then have a big D-Lineman return an interception for 81 yards. You have 3 timeouts with 30 seconds left, you line up incorrectly at first, and the playclock is winding down fast. Spurrier not calling a timeout was a big mistake.
  20. South Carolina should have about 28 on the board. Clemson's defense can't stop the run or pass, but they're giving the game away.
  21. That could be helpful with Manning Jr out. Yeah, and special teams coverage. The injury report is now clear after Jones and Wesley were removed on Friday. The Patriot, on the other hand: OUT SS Rodney Harrison (Shoulder) QUESTIONABLE TE Daniel Graham (Ankle) CB Ellis Hobbs (Wrist) LB Corey Mays (Hamstring) P Josh Miller (Shoulder) CB Asante Samuel (Knee) CB Chad Scott (Groin) TE David Thomas (Groin) FS Eugene Wilson (Hamstring) PROBABLE QB Tom Brady (Shoulder) DE Richard Seymour (Elbow) But that's from Thursday. Faulk is now questionable with the flu. And Josh Miller is now out.
  22. You think Hawpe's a better player than Soriano? Yes. Wow, I mean Hawpe is a very nice player but I personally dont think he is on Soriano's level. I think it is quite obvious that you dont really like the signing of Soriano, but dont let that cloud your judgment. If you are going the route of production vs. price, then I can see your point, otherwise I would have to disagree. But I would love to hear why you came to that conclusion. Hawpe in 2006: .293/.383/.515/.898 Soriano in 2006: .277/.351/.560/.911 Soriano has only put up Hawpe's OPS once in his career. And Hawpe is 3.5 years younger with just two full major league seasons under his belt.
  23. Interesting home/road splits for Hawpe. Home: .282/.369/.454/.822 Road: .303/.395/.571/.966 Doubles were nearly identical, but he hit 16 HRs on the road compared to just 6 at Coors.
  24. Don't think you can put it any simpler than that.
  25. 31-24 after 1.
