  1. Hillenmeyer (thight) and Ruben Brown (shoulder) are probable. Vasher (hamstring), Tait (ankle), Tillman (back), Jones (Ribs), Leon Joe (hamstring), and Todd Johnson (ankle) are all questionable. R. Brown, Hillenmeyer, Joe, Jones, Tait, and Tillman didn't practice today.
  2. This is crazy:
  3. What exactly did Wallace do there?
  4. Way to help us out while fouling out, Kobe!
  5. Great cut, Sefolosha! No offensive foul on the screen!?! What the heck is going on!?
  6. You havent heard? These are the 90's Lakers who have stars everywhere and get every call.....Deng is a damn stud, what a pretty move....If hes not an All Star there is a problem. This quarter alone has just been horrible.
  7. Great move, Deng!
  8. How is that an offensive foul?
  9. And the officiating just keeps on getting worse...
  10. What terrible officiating...
  11. Horrible last possession. Game tied 70-70 after 3.
  12. This is so ugly...
  13. Just got home. The two shots I've seen him take did seem rather wild. At least one unnecessary fadeaway long-range jumper.
  14. The bulls looked quite bad in the second quarter.
  15. As am I. I don't think the arrest was quite worthy of being kicked off the team and the tragedy regarding his friend was not his fault. He probably needs at least a week off, anyways, to mourn and recover.
  16. Oh, forgot to mention this. The Bears have the best scoreboard graphic to start a chant that I've ever seen. They start playing a clip of John Candy in The Great Outdoors. It's the part when the bear knocks over the door and starts jumping on it while Candy is pinned underneath. And they just keep showing the bear jumping on the door three times (with Let's Go Bears synced up to it) over and over and over again.
  17. I could be wrong, but I believe the refs make a signal when it's been touched, and that is what caused him to go after the ball. It's like a free play after the D-line goes offside. They likely throw the flag, but usually he wouldn't be able to see that. At least not when things are still going on. If you go after the ball when it's not moving, it likely means that there are opposing players around it and you're not going to be able to do anything with it. And usually if it's not moving, someone has already touched it. But there's still no real point to do anything. Even if you do get a handle of the ball, they're just going to shove you backwards and take you down. But I still don't underestimate the ability of some officials to screw things up.
  18. I heard a vague reference to it that said once the kicking team touched the ball, a return player could pick it up and return it without the risk of a turnover. Basically, it was a no risk situation. I'm guessing a special teams player like Worrell would know all these weird special teams related rules. The problem with that is if there's no way you'd actually get good yardage (like the last time he tried that when 5 opposing players surrounded the ball), you're risking touching the ball after the refs don't see that the kicking team had already touched it. And that will just cost you a challenge. You're also risking getting hit pretty hard by 5 guys. As for the replay, we were trying to figure out what the heck they were reviewing on the punt. The scoreboards showed numerous times that it was real obvious that it wasn't a touchback. Pretty odd, especially considering the delay between when it happened and when they decided to review it.
  19. Daisuke lives and dies with his 4-seamer and curve, but he also has a good 2-seamer and pretty decent forkball. I don't think there's anything really deceptive about him. He locates with his fastball, which has pretty decent velocity, and has a very good curve. He's not a "gimmick" pitcher.
  20. Stupid tivo cut off just about the entire OT period. They upgraded the software sports can be extended for 15 minutes at a time, but you have to be there to tell it ok. A lot of good that does.
  21. Yeesh. I did not like that second half. I'm not sure which was louder, the cheering for Hester before the opening kickoff or the booing of Lovie for not trying to pick up 50 yards in 60+ seconds with 3 timeouts.
  22. Considering the one year contract Sosa would sign for, I'd rather have him out on the pitchers mound next year in #21.
  23. Oregon uniforms reach a new low (it apparently was possible).
