  1. Bears win the toss and will receive.
  2. Hahah. The Lions spent time this week practicing with crowd noise in case the Bears fans get loud like they did in St. Louis. I don't like the all-white. Of course, this will be the last time they'll be in their road uniforms. If they make it to the SB, they'll get to pick which uniforms to wear.
  3. Lovie confirmed that Grossman won't play the entire game. Chris Harris will start, but Todd Johnson will be ready to go, as well.
  4. When's the last time Tillman missed a game? Who's starting at tackle? He didn't play in the regular season finale last year. Not sure who's starting.
  5. Tillman, Joe, and Tait are all inactive today.
  6. Screw the big mac. What the fans really got into was the hinkley truck race, which won some of them a free gallon of water with the purchase of a gallon of water. Intense race. Just got back from my first game in like 9 years. What a butt kicking. Not sure where Hinrich went, but that was a great game to watch. And there was quite a bit of booing Morrison.
  7. The aim is pretty similar. They just go about it in different ways. TDS is more of a mixture of direct humor/sarcasm while Colbert is pretty much entirely sarcasm. But they usually talk about the same stories in any given night. Besides, the overall aim is to make me laugh quite a bit. And they do!
  8. Someone's trying hard for his end of the year bonus...
  9. Hinrich, Nocioni, and to a lesser extent, Duhon, were the most responsible for this loss tonight. Hinrich and Noc played like absolute crap tonight. Going to lose to the Knicks. This team isn't as good as our record indicates. We still have a lot of work to do on the defensive end. I just meant how Gordon was playing at that time (half-way through the 4th, maybe). I'm still not even sure Hinrich made the trip to NY. Yikes:
  10. Gordon's play right now is pretty symbolic of the Bulls tonight. He's out of control, shooting horribly, and not executing at all.
  11. Unlike Denver, the Knicks didn't really lose anybody important because of the brawl. Robinson, Collins and Jeffries are all backups so the only thing they lost was depth. And those guys who'd otherwise not see the court at all are in there in this joke of a game by the Bulls. Can't box out on defense, nor can they shoot. Sigh. I'm not sure I get your point. According to ESPN.com's box score, the five Knick starters (Marbury, Crawford, Frye, Lee, Curry) have scored 67 of the 74 points so far and have played 3/4 of the minutes as well. ETA: Yes the Knicks aren't a good team but they weren't hurt by the suspensions all that much. But that doesn't change the fact that the Bulls shouldn't be losing to them anyway. They didn't do anything when Rose and Cato were in there. The same with James. And those three have 9 rebounds between them, nearly half of what the Bulls have as a team.
  12. Are the Bulls intentionally trying to see how many offensive boards they can allow?

  14. This is embarrassing.
  15. Not to mention Hinrich and their rebounding. Down 54-51 at the half...
  16. Has anyone seen this team's three-point shooting?
  17. What the heck was that, Curry?
  18. The one negative TDS has going against them is that their format is locked. Like last night's Colbert Report, Colbert and the writing staff can pretty much go in whatever direction they want. The Henry Kissinger parts were just icing on the cake last night. What a great last show of the year. http://featuresblogs.chicagotribune.com/photos/uncategorized/colbertfive.jpg
  19. Haven't you brought that up in every Loretta thread in the past 6 months, Mr. I met NU grad Joe Girardi more recently than you?
  20. Ruben Brown was downgraded from probable to questionable, but Vasher was upgraded to probable and Hillenmeyer was removed altogether. Everyone else is still questionable, although Kreutz is now questionable with a knee injury. Tait, Tillman, Ruben Brown, and Kreutz did not practice today.
  21. San Juan Shootout. And it was the 5th place game. They lost to Tennessee Tech by 1 in the opening round. They did, though, destroy Utah by 33. I don't think anyone saw that coming. But when you set a team record for three point shooting, things must have been clicking.
  22. Holy crap Northwestern put up 77 on someone (Utah). Coble is developing quite fast. 8-11 from the field and 5-5 from beyond the arc this morning.
  23. http://a123.g.akamai.net/f/123/12465/1d/media.canada.com/cp/entertainment/20061021/e102101a.jpg Can't vote, though.
