It depends on the local outlet and the individual media member. The majority of local radio hosts, beat writers and columnists pretty much use the same thought process and are trapped by the same logical fallacies that the national people use. They think and analyze by cliche, reduce to the lowest common denominator, etc. There are precious few local guys (our own Bruce Miles, Lawrence Holmes, Dan Bernstein) that don't use conventional wisdom. Hard to isolate them from the controversy-creating, loud talking, illogical media, though, for the general public. Let the flex scheduling backlash begin. The bears will be ending beer sales at halftime due to the time change.
