    I guess we know what motivates Santana. I just lost a lot of respect for him. That quote there represents alot of things that are wrong with professional sports today. yep because everyone i know would take a job for 10 bucks a hour instead of the 30 bucks a hour to do the exact same thing that someone else offered. Especially in Santana's position of being the best pitcher in baseball. You completely missed his point. It was not about money, it was about his negotiation style. He made a blatant threat. A threat about what would happen AFTER he filed for free agency. It has nothing to do with his negotiations with the Twins for an extension.

    It took me 80 minutes to get out of the parking lot at Miller Park once. It was terrible. Walking to the el and getting on the platform only takes a few minutes.

    Is striking out the side in the 2nd good enough for you? Of course, he also gave up a single and a walk. Peoria up 1-0 on doubles by Carter and Lewis.

    Don't touch the restrooms. And by touch I mean renovate. Objectives 1-9 of ballpark restrooms are to get people in and out as quickly as possible. I've never had to wait in Wrigley except for a few times immediately following a game when everyone is trying to get in. Maybe the women's restroom need some work, but the men's are just fine the way they are. Also worth pointing out is that while some of the terrace reserve seats are obstructed, those pillars support the best upper deck in the country.

    Picked up the Daily Northwestern on my way out of the gym and they finally had it. It's a full page ad, too. Anyways, the Northwestern promo code is "WILDCATS." They have "exclusive" dates for NU as 4/11, 4/13, 4/16, 4/17, 4/23, 4/24, 5/8, and 5/9. Originally I think they had all weekday home games in April and May, but now it looks like those are the only dates that work. When you get through, there is the regular 8 bleacher ticket limit. The promo is only valid online, so you can't avoid the fees by buying them at the ballpark. Other than that, though, it should be easy to buy them. They don't require any proof that you're a student, so anyone can use it. It also doesn't matter which promo code you use, so "WILDCATS" will work for anyone.
