  1. The Nets beat the Knicks 104-95. Minnesota leads Denver 55-51 late 2nd, but Utah is beating Portland 60-41.
  2. Nice to capitalize big time on a "questionable" call that should have ended the inning for once.
  3. The Nets are up 11 on the Knicks at the half.
  4. Barrett with the huge equilizer in the 84th minute which should avoid an embarrassing 11 on 10 loss. The Fire's offensive attack has looked anemic tonight.
  5. Raptors barely hang on 107-105.
  6. Spoke a little too soon. It's now a 1 point game with 10 seconds left. Knicks on a 11-3 run down the stretch.
  7. Despite trailing by 9 at the half, it looks like the Raptors are going to hold on against the Knicks.
  8. Rapids down to 10 just minutes into the game thanks to a really stupid foul.
  9. Total domination. 101-68 the final.
  10. Gordon is putting on a show.
  11. http://youtube.com/watch?v=7mzsazDWVcY
  12. Ah crap. Please be okay, Gordon. Looks like he is.
  13. Bulls lead big at the half, 49-27.
  14. Crap. I should know better than to rely on ChicagoSports.com's schedule. They're less reliable than Wallace at the FT line.
  15. Looks like there's a new Bulls DVD set out: http://bullsstore.seenon.com/img/product/cats/00014797-541544.jpg Celebrate the Chicago Bulls' first ever NBA Championship with Warner Home Video's NBA Chicago Bulls 1991 NBA Champions: Learning to Fly Collector's Edition DVD Set! Relive the Bulls' magical season of 1990-1991 with a six-disc collector's set. The set includes each complete 1991 NBA Finals game, as well as breathtaking highlights and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage. Watch as legendary coach Phil Jackson leads Jordan, Pippen, and the rest of the '91 Bulls as they carve their place in history as one of the NBA's all-time greatest teams.
  16. First row tickets are available for the game tomorrow.
  17. Eh. Over their last last 5 games, they've squeaked by the Wizards twice, been blown out by the Cavs and Bulls, and beat the Knicks with a huge 3rd quarter after trailing to them at the half at home. I don't think it'll be that big of a deal. And this time, the Bulls will have Wallace, Thomas, and Nocioni, none of whom played against the Net last week.
  18. But how will Ohio State be able to maintain that 10% graduation rate? Speaking of which, 3 of the violations against Ohio State are being dropped by the NCAA because they submitted the paperwork two days late back in 2005...
  19. This sounds like a great idea:
  20. who have both won multiple titles since 1917. The Cubs, White Sox, and Red Sox make it 3 teams who have had ridiculously long droughts. 3 is a pretty significant number, especially when over the majority of those years there were far fewer teams in the majors. While the Cubs' drought seems almost too absurd, it hasn't been a fluke occurrence in MLB. okay, since 1945, the red sox have appeared in 5 world series, the white sox, 2. "strange things continue to happen at wrigley field." i don't know why it's so hard to at least admit that there's something strange about all of it, even if you don't believe in curses. And if the Cubs win in the next 10 years, does that mean that there was no curse or that the curse was broken? WS appearances are great and all, but the only thing that counts is the championship. And there were three teams that went through droughts that you would think would be of impossible length. The only strange thing going on at Wrigley is the long, long history of incompetent management. But that's what happens when you've only had a handful of people running the team over the past 90 years.

  22. Thabo makes the fans happy. 100-81 the final. Another step closer to the 2 seed. Remaining schedules: Bulls 4/15 @ Washington (ABC) 4/18 @ New Jersey (WGN) Cavs 4/14 vs. Atlanta 4/17 @ Philadelphia 4/18 vs. Milwaukee
  23. i've always believed that if the cubs moved, they would win. wrigley is cursed. i've always believed that curses were reserved for children's fair tales and greek mythology maybe someday there will be some sort of physical explanation for the inordinate amount of misfortune that has befallen the chicago cubs, maybe "curse" will be understood as simply the power of attention, of thought, and it's effect on the environment. there have been successful tests proving that electrons behave differently when observed. even a very, very poorly run team should have lucked itself into a WS by now. call that what you will, but it's certainly strange. as for "curses" being a word that's muttered when things don't go your way, well, not much has gone the cubs' way in the last century--in fact, anything that could go wrong has gone wrong for them. you'd like to think that similar things happen to other teams, but they don't, they just don't. Except for the White Sox and Red Sox.
  24. Not a great start to the second half. And the Knicks have officially been eliminated.
  25. Hahaha. Wallace with the turnaround fadeaway jumper to end the half. Bulls with a 56-42 lead.
