  1. He's not getting nearly enough. He put this crap show together. And the media is focused on Bradley's personality. When you have a bunch of 30+ year olds with injury histories you can't blame a season on flukey injuries. They've had 2 guys underperform reasonable expectations. You have to assume some guys are going to struggle. What you can't do is pay superstar money to non-superstars and expect to cruise. He's spent a ton of money on this team and it's been a big waste. Fontenot, Miles, Gregg, Marmol, Soriano, Soto, Bradley, and that's without touching injuries. Who forsaw Fontenot, Marmol, Soriano, and Soto struggling so much this season? Letting go of DeRosa and adding Miles is the only mistake you can blame Hendry for, but it's a huge one. You can blame him for Dempster and Soriano's contracts hamstringing the team. The team was good enough coming into this year, a lot of key players massively underperformed, with Soriano at the top of the list. I'm not even upset at Bradley's production. Sure I want him to hit for more power, but a .400 OBP is exactly what I wanted out of him.

  3. He walked on the 22nd. He's 1 for 25 with a .231 OPS since coming off the DL. I purposely have avoided looking up his stats for fear of what I might find. Thank you for abrubtly presenting it to us. It's kinda like quickly tearing off a band-aid.
  4. Hendry should be a man and face the music.
  5. I can only imagine the posters loving a move like this from Hendry. Trading Thome for next to nothing when he's going to be a type A free agent. Brilliant move by Williams. =D> Thome in the NL, most likely will not be a Type A. Hell in the NL there is a good chance Thome isnt ranked as a Type B either. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/ Yes, but 4 days ago, WIlliams had a type A free agent as an asset. Now he doesn't. What he is now is not relavent at all. The White Sox will not offer him arbitration. It wouldn't matter if he was type A or not.
  6. Is it just me or does our lineup hit so much better with Fukudome leading off?
  7. REPLAYS SHOWED BRADLEY TRIPPED! Once again, our fanbase is full of idiots.
  8. Fred, I'm pretty sure Coste and Keppinger struck out looking.
  9. And washing your car. And putting on cowboy boots. And ironing shirts you are currently wearing. And removing shrink wrap from DVDs. And lifting pillows. And carrying a deer carcass up a flight of stairs. And being run over by automatic tarp machines. What is it about being a baseball player that automatically makes you Mr. Glass?
  10. Great message to send to his players: "We can't play UNC! Nooooooo!!!! " isiah Thomas is a [expletive] ass. How he continues to get jobs is beyond me. Isiah is not trying to back out of Coaches vs. Cancer, his school is. The contract was signed before he got there.
  11. Kevin O'Connell has been released.
  12. If a pro bowl QB goes down for any team, that team is in big trouble. How is this earth shattering news?
  13. Wow Brandon Marshall is a huge d-bag.
  14. Not sure what McDaniels saw on that challenge.
  15. He screwed the Chargers, not the Broncos.
  16. Bears had absolutely no field position to work with though. Best player so far has been the Broncos punter.
  17. LOL a bit overconfident aren't we? In case you haven't noticed, Vegas has the Packers as the favorites. Right now there is NOT a clear favorite in the NFC North. I would put the Bears/Vikings/Packers are even keel, no matter the caliber of play in preseason. Even more proof that the Bears will "smash the pack" is nothing but a sign of overconfidence. Full disclosure: I'm a Packers fan from my days living in the U.P. of Michigan. However, I'm also a realist.

  19. More or less same lineup that scored 11 runs yesterday. We'll see what happens.
  20. I've said it all year; the Cubs fans who boo Milton are idiots. Make a list of all the things wrong with this team and Bradley is nowhere near the top.
