    Well, after the umpire calls out on fan interference, that guy would be run out of town on a rail worse than Bartman, I'd hope. So the result would have been the same as if he had not thrown the beer.

    IF this had happened in the playoffs, and the fan caused Victorino to miss the ball leading to the go-ahead run being scored, how would we react then?

    I know of no Cubs fans who call that "the catch". Yeah, that's pretty pathetic writing. It was a nice catch and all, but come on. Add to that the fact it wasn't even close to his major league debut. It was his 10th game.

    Hmm ... I thought Notre Dame sells out every game, so demand greatly exceeds supply. I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but they sell out almost every single game. Those people standing across the street are selling tickets that have technically been sold by the university already. I should add, you can get the tix at face. If you're not wise, you can also get them for almost 2 times face. So why don't those people standing across the street just go to the game? They are right there after all. Why does anyone scalp tickets ever? 1) Something came up and they can't go 2) Want to make some money selling for more than they paid I agree with the first point, though if you can't go chances are you aren't outside the stadium right before gametime trying to sell off your tickets. I have a hard time believing the second point, since the tickets are going for face or less than face. Unless the scalpers are middle-men and got their tickets for even cheaper somehow, but I can't think of how that's possible.

    I just hope Hendry doesnt get wind of the whole best 3B in baseball thing and offer him a 10 year 250 million dollar deal. Pssh ... ARod makes more than that. Try 10 yr 290 mil and don't look back.
