3 years/ 24 million with 10 mil guaranteed. Not bad for a guy with 2 career starts. I wish him all the best. It's a shame as I like him and think he'll be good, but he'd be blocked by Rodgers. I'll be rooting for him. Yeah, shame cause he has all the talent to be an NFL starting QB. But we got Rodgers, potentially the greatest QB in NFL history, so that makes saying goodbye to him quite easy.

Colin Cowherd is in the 83rd percentile, and he's a [expletive] moron. Having a bad bracket means nothing about your knowledge (of which Gottlieb has tons) Yep, it's pretty much shooting darts. no matter how much you know about college basketball.

Really? Yeah, check his free blog. Its still a longshot but higher odds than usual. That's really overselling it. He doesn't "really like" Vermont to win. He's picking the least ugly dog from the dogs. His article makes that pretty clear. Keep in mind his numbers were calculated before the Lamar/Vermont game. Lamar was the clear favorite in that game, and since they lost, UNC's odds of winning their game will now go up.

Really? Yeah, check his free blog. Its still a longshot but higher odds than usual. Meh, not really a fan of log5 analysis since it's a formula based solely on winning percentage and doesn't take strength of schedule into account at all.

Why the strong language? The last teams in the field will all have flaws. Nobody's denying that, but Iona had a very good season considering their conference. 9-3 against a 44 out of conference SOS is decent. they beat zero tournament teams, beat zero top 50 rpi teams. their best win was (i guess) home vs. st. joe's. they lost to hofstra, manhattan, siena and fairfield. if you could somehow list those things on a power conference team's resume, they wouldn't make the CBI. edit: i guess they beat LMU who made the tourney by winning that crappy conf tournament. Nevada at home was their best win, and they also beat Vermont who is in the tourney. I'm not sure who you would replace them with, but Washington also had 0 top 50 rpi wins. Personally, I would have picked Drexel over Iona, but there are cases to be made for and against any team that's one of the last few in, as they are just so close. It just depends on your sensibilities and what particular scope you give weight to.
