  1. I'll be there. How bad is Braun going to hear it from the fans?
  2. He said most likely not. Sweeping the Knicks would feel so so so good right now.
  3. Well.....damn
  4. Kings are the 3 seed with 2 games left, and still haven't yet clinched a playoff spot. That division is not good. Play for the 6 seed.
  5. Didn't he then get his assistant coach to marry her to keep her quiet? He got his assistant to watch the entrance to make sure no one came in while Pitino had sex with her on a dirty restaurant floor. I guess he wanted to make sure that no one was walking through that door.
  6. It just ain't happening tonight boys
  7. Would be the 2nd time the Bulls hit 50 win since MJ. Of course this one would be done in 66 games. 10-6 is very doable.

  9. That dude should have passed it to no. 15. He was wide open and there was time.
  10. Top 5, IMO ... I'm honestly having trouble thinking of a more memorable moment if that had gone in. Jordans shot against Russell, ruths called shot, Buckner ball, fluties hail mary, that's all I got. Duh Laettners shot. Laettner would be behind Hayward. Laettner only got Duke to the Final Four. Hayward would have won a national freaking championship. And those other moments ... famous as they are, did not win championships or were at the last possible moment. With Hayward, we're talking the absolute biggest game, at the absolute last possible moment in a win/lose scenario. I guess NC State over Houston would be up there too.

  12. What's coach K's record look like? 5-3 Really? That's awesome actually. Especially since he's almost always a one or two. Ok ok. I lied. It's actually 5-4 cause I forgot about 2003... Wins: 1988 Elite Eight (2) Duke vs. (1) Temple 63-53 1989 Elite Eight (2) Duke vs. (1) Georgetown 85-77 1990 Elite Eight (3) Duke vs. (1) Connecticut 79-78 1991 Final Four (2) Duke vs. (1) UNLV 79-77 1994 Elite Eight (2) Duke vs. (1) Purdue 69-60 Losses: 1987 Sweet Sixteen: (1) Indiana vs. (5) Duke 88-82 1990 Title Game: (1) UNLV vs. (3) Duke 103-73 1994 Title Game: (1) Arkansas vs. (2) Duke 76-72 2003 Sweet Sixteen: (2) Kansas vs. (3) Duke 69-65 Just for fun, here are equal seeded games. Obviously these are all either Final Four or Championship Games: 1986 Final Four: (1) Duke over (1) Kansas 71-67 1999 Final Four: (1) Duke over (1) Michigan State 68-82 1999 Title Game: (1) Connecticut over (1) Duke 77-74

  14. I completely missed that Shaka Smart is in the Atlanta studios for CBS today. Did he say anything about Illinois?
  15. No need for the if. They were doing it. Were told to stop and refused to stop. They deserve to be hit simply by the immense idiocy pouring out of that franchise. I haven't and won't argue that they shouldn't be punished, I just think the moral outrage is being overblown i.e. "they have no souls!" or with fans of other teams pretending like their players would never have taken part in something like this because their brutes are far classier than the brutes on the Saints. The moral outrage is uncalled for. Everybody has done this in one way shape or form. Where the Saints get in trouble is with their incredible stupidity to continue the practice after being specifically told to stop. So if everybody committed the same infraction, that infraction is now morally just?
  16. The effectiveness of the program is not relevant to its existence.
  17. Says the guy whose team couldn't beat a 15 seed. You cut me man. You cut me deep.
  18. Sweet Sixteen basketball, Ladies and Gentlemen!
  19. LOL GB actually has class.
  20. If I paid money for another person to hurt somebody else and potentially end their livelihood, I'd be arrested and put in jail. I wouldn't get to come back to my job after a 1 year suspension.
  21. I don't see what you're talking about.
  22. They're probably interested because even the biggest of Tebow-hating weirdos would have to admit he has value as a backup QB you have to give nothing up for I strangely feel very excited about this. He would be a great backup QB, and can learn under the capable tutelage of Tom Clements while Rodgers tears up the NFC North. As a bonus, Packers can also use him as a receiver/tight end in some trick formations. He would bring a lot to the table. Hopefully the Broncos allow Tebow to have some say in where he goes, as Tebow has earned that right. He would be a fool if he didn't give the Packers a good, hard look. My only worry is that his game is so much different than Aaron Rodgers. I usually like backups to have similar skill sets as the starter, so the offense doesn't have to reinvent itself if the starter gets hurt.
  23. His scoring since Rose has been out goes 24, 6, 8, 20. His assists are 1, 4, 1, 2.
  24. Wow. Wow, that guy is my new hero.
