    BTW, umps got another home run call wrong. ARod hit a shot that bounced off a staircase-like thing just past the outfield wall. The ball bounced back onto the field. Umps huddled for a second and gave ARod a double. Geez, what a horrific week for MLB umpiring. Oh well .. the sooner instant replay is implemented, the better.

    Lol. You mean the home teams usually have the advantage, but the AL's home field advantage is more significant? Bingo.This makes sense, as the difference between AL DH and NL top bench player is greater than the difference between mediocre-at-best-hitting pitchers(NL) and automatic out pitchers(AL). Even if the DH is able to play the field in NL ballparks, there is a difference between the AL's 9th hitter (the person who gets benched in interleague games, but would otherwise be a starter) vs. the NL's top bench player.
