You know, with all those ballyhoo'ed prospects in AAA and AA, surprised they didn't do better as a team. Too much organizational fodder there, I guess.
Could his price and skillset make sense for a valuable backup/pinch hitter? It's pretty clear to me that we do what we can to keep him on our team. He's at 2.5 WAR right now after about 450 PAs. His positional versatility is going to make him a fine backup. Yeah that would be sweet, but I'm thinking the more likely scenario is that other teams will want him for an everyday role and he'll want to get traded.
Valbuena has really shown up this year. if it wasn't for some guy named Kris Bryant, he might just be the everyday 3rd baseman for a few years. Is there anyway we can keep Luis Valbuena?
Because he hustled or because he's hurt? Haha Brewers! Cause he's hurt, at least it seems like it. I have a feeling regardless if he's hurt or not, he's done for the day.
The importance of framing pitches. The K pitch to Coghlan just now was the same location as that pitch to Braun. Lucroy framed it well and Castillo did not.
