    There was a switch pitcher from Creighton that this happened to. The umps during that game ruled the pitcher had to choose his hand first.

    Instead of wallowing in the misery of White Sox message boards, I prefer to read Brewers and Cardinals message boards. Since it's not their team losing, they can look at the situation without the emotional goggles of a fan of either team. The posts they make are sometimes hilarious.

    I kinda liked it. A good announcer knows when to shut his mouth and let the crowd do the talking. Vin Scully is a great example of this.
