    Bartman declined the offer which I think is very admirable of him. This is entirely consistent with his past history of declining all monetary offers for interviews/publicity/autographs. I can't say I could do the same of declining 25 large.

    Can anybody else not stand Cory Provus as the play-by-play man on radio? After the kind, warm voice of Pat, I hate listening to Cory's harsh voice.

    So you think those guys suddenly become completely different pitchers when they're at home or on the road? It's kind of like starting a guy on Mondays and Fridays because those are the 2 days of the week he has the best career numbers on. Well, home stats are meaningful because it makes logical sense that some pitchers perform better in one ballpark than in others. For Bush, that ballpark is his home park.

    I think MasterBlaster has a good point. I want calls to be RIGHT. I don't care about deception or whatever. Just get the call right. That is the ultimate goal. However, some calls are subjective like when a 2nd baseman interferes with a runner on the basepaths or fan interference on a playable ball. Those calls need to be made by human interpretation.

    He hasn't been called up because the Twins management decided not to call him up. Sheesh, the sense of entitlement of these players is insane. Nobody is "owed" a major league roster spot.
