    Why isn't Olympic baseball more important? The NHL suspends its season so that their players can go play in the Winter Olympics. I just wish there was more nationalistic pride when it comes to baseball. I hope the WBC will cultivate that.

    Don't forget that anybody selected in the Rule 5 draft must be on that team's 25 man roster for an entire season if they want to keep him. That team also has to pay $50,000.

    Probably why Cuban's having such a hard time getting a fair shot at ownership. It's good, actually; 2003 was a long time ago, I needed some new fuel for Marlin hatred. This works. Last year wasn't enough?

    Absolutely not. It's unfair that the Cubs lost home field advantage (assuming they make it to the Series in the first place) because a Brewer couldn't throw out the runner at the plate. and dan uggla couldn't... well, do anything. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Uggla Wowser....I feel bad for hating on the guy.....
