  1. Why are you frustrated? It should be clear by now that Ryan Ludwick is a very good baseball player.
  2. I believe so. Runners move at their own risk when an infield fly rule is in effect.
  3. Because if the batter runs the team only gets one out regardless. Not true. If batter runs, then the guy on first has to run as well. The fielder could catch the ball and double the guy up on first. If the bunt gets popped up and the batter runs to first with the runner on first holding as he should be on a popup, the fielder either has the option of catching it and getting the batter out or letting it drop and getting the runner out at second with the batter being safe at first. Obviously if the runner on first is a moron or is running on the play, the fielder could catch the ball and double the guy off. But in normal scenarios like the one the Cubs were in, the Brewers should only get one out regardless of whether or not the fielder chooses to catch the ball. Gotcha, that makes sense. However, it also allows the defensive team to "choose" which runner is on first. The Brewers could have gotten Harden to run the bases if they so choosed.

  5. FJM is going to have a field day with this.
  6. obviously, the pee jokes wore themselves out years ago, but this picture will never be not-funny I find it funny too, but I just can't explain why!
  7. Dangerous. We don't need Ibanez with that lineup. Why the hell is soto 8th though. He hasnt been slumping THAT bad, jesus. I guess my thoughts are, where do you stick all the people? I guess switching DeRo and Soto, but still, freakin' Mark DeRosa would be our 8 hitter. Geo is just as, if not more crazy though. i'd go the same 1-5 but i'd go Soto, Derosa, Edmonds 6-8 Gotta split up those righties dude.
  8. After we got sweept in Boston, Yost changed it up and we started winning. We started winning because our pitching came around not because our pitcher was batting 8th, It was actually working. So a series with a DH made Yost change his mind about batting the pitcher 8th?
  9. Why are the Astros acquiring players when they should be trading them away for prospects or at least giving a major league look at the prospects they already have in their system?
  10. A - who's the backup SS B - no anyway Ok fine. Sherill and Bynum.
  11. I kinda liked Farnsy when he was a Cub.
  12. I don't think Josh Mora understood a single word he said.
  13. I could listen to Soriano interviews all day.
  14. Geez, Cedeno scared the crap out of me.
  15. Ok, I followed the 2004 season from start to finish, but I HAVE NO IDEA WHO JIMMY ANDERSON IS.
  16. ?? Eh, it's happened with Mike Piazza.
  17. They play better at home than they do on the road. Well, this is like a quasi-home game.
