  1. Pablo Sandoval probably will, and Fox doesn't play everyday. Pablo cannot win Rookie of the Year. I wonder what would happen if Sandoval got the most votes. I mean, the voters have proven that they'll vote for a guy even if he isn't a rookie (Edinson Volquez last year). Would they just give it to the second place guy? Make everyone vote again? It would be pretty funny to see it happen. Uh ... how can that be possible? I would assume the voters get a list of all eligible rookies or something. Or at least, any voter who accidentally votes for an ineligible player would be notified and told to revote.
  2. Man, it's a good thing Guzman got through the 7th unscatched ..... oh wait.
  3. Infinitely cooler if one of them were on our team.
  4. Does Ken Macha have a daughter he's trying to set up or something?
  5. Gotta love a fanbase that only claps when a song over the loudspeaker tells them to clap.
  6. I say tomorrow we just go out there and try to injure as many Marlins as possible. They deserve it.
  7. Sweet, Heilman in the 10th with shoddy defense behind him. Can't wait.
  8. I fully expect the Marlins to score in the bottom half of the inning, so we need 1 more.
  9. What can Prior do after his playing days? When baseball is all you've known for your entire life, and it comes to an end before you're 30, what do you do?
  10. I know, is she just some random Marlins fan?
  11. That's in September right? WE COULD BE FACING PEAVY!! Leave it to dbag Ozzie to have Peavy face the Cubs.
  12. Peavy's home/away splits are pretty uneven.
  13. In 2003, the Cubs set a MLB record for most K's in a season.
  14. BTW, isn't the streak MLB wide, not just NL?
  15. His ERA is fine but he really doesn't strike many people out and gives up over a hit per inning.
  16. Rehabs, what a novel concept right Dempster?
  17. Fukudome has just been quietly good lately, kinda like how Scottie Pippen had quiet 30 point games. Can you think of a defining Fukudome moment this year? I can't.
  18. Would you expect anything else from the fanbase that produced this gem? maybe I read this wrong but I didn't see this as a idiot comment. All they are saying is that with all the day games, there is an inherent home field advantage the Cubs employ. But in the past the cubs weren't able to take advantage for whatever reasons. Why would the Cubs have more of a home field advantage with the numerous day games (which probably didn't last for that many years).
