    Didn't they say during the broadcast today that Kendall spent the whole offseason working with his dad who is a catching coach? Supposedly they ID'd some issues with his form and fixed them in the offseason. Maybe we'll regret getting rid of him!

    It was just an ugly game today. Nothing was going right. Two games back already... GO CUBS!

    I think Pie is overrated. He should be further along by now. I will happily eat my words on this, but that's where I stand with it right now.

    It was almost surreal watching it today. Gagne and Wood struggling. At one time they were potential HOF'ers. I don't hold it against Wood. If there's any blame, it's the dead bats.

    Dan Roan (WGN) was just live there a few minutes ago and said it's raining harder there now than it has been all day (12:15). Then Tom Skilling said that there is a break in the weather coming soon, so it looks good to get it in after a delay.

    Yeah, I like Kruk now, too, even if only for one day. Ha ha. He didn't give much of a reason for saying they'd be in the WS, but it sounds good to hear it.

    Yeah, that's what I heard... the reason they have so many open dates early is because of weather issues. Why wouldn't they play it tomorrow? I live down near Joliet, southwest of Chicago, and it's storming and raining right now, same up north.

    They say it could be 66 degrees in Chicago opening day, making it one of the warmest ever ... then again, it probably will be pouring rain, too.

    A sure kiss of death is anytime the announcers start talking about how it will be a slugfest because then that pretty much guarantees it won't be.
