    LOL! I remember meeting Wilkins at a Denny's in Oakbrook or somewhere like that. He was doing some sort of a benefit for Hurricane Andrew relief, I think it was. Nice guy.

    What a weird thought Brenly going to Milwaukee. He'd be great for that team. I get that feeling all the time like he is dying to get back into managing, like he can hardly stand some of the things he sees from up in the booth. All I can say, NO DJ... NO DJ.... NO DJ??? Someone please tell me he's signed, too, and can't get out of his contract somewhere else!

Yeah, that free shipping almost has me tempted! :roll: But seriously if I had that extra cash I would totally buy one of those packages off Ebay. The only way I would is if it came with a guarantee for playoff and WS tickets. Otherwise, I really have no reason to go to 81 games. The WS and playoff ticket option would be ideal. I would love to have tickets to all the game then I could pick or choose and then give the others to my friends or charity raffle type things.

    That was funny a few years back when they did the bit about the legislative hearings on the steroid thing. Keenan (spelling?) Thompson was hilarious as Sammy.

    What I wonder is how was he doing say the last week before each of his playoff appearances (career). I remember this year he was slumping pretty bad going in. Maybe he wears down at the end of the season. I don't know, but I think it's worth the Cubs figuring it out.

    The Cubs are a terrible baserunning team in general. We could use some upgrades in that dept.
