Aren't you guys tired of the same crap year in and year out? I've been a loyal fan of this team for most of my 37 years, and they NEVER win it. I was so sure at one point that we would win it all befor that team on the south side whom I refuse to acknowledge. BUt it didn't happen. Plus it looks like that team is BETTER this yeaar. Please, I need a reason for hope with this team.

Clearly you didn't know that we scored 1 run against a 6+ ERA starter and a 6+ ERA reliever yesterday. My bad. I forgot. Drat. And Good Eats is just about over. -
After seeing the ERA of the new DBacks pitcher, I may be around for a bit.

You know, I sometimes wish this team would just forfiet, and save us all a lot of headaches. Unless Dusty, Hendry and the Trib also own the company that makes Rolaids.

I think that the problem with this team has not been looked at seriously... THe pitching and hitting coaches are just not doing their jobs.

A philosophical question I've been struggling with lately... Do the Cubs breed depression, or do they attract the already depressed?

Tell us how you really feel... Seeing as how the opposite of what I say always happens... "I'll get a raise" "Oil prices won't go over $3 a gallon" "Honey, we're having sex tonight" "Cubs will win" ... It couldn't hurt to try reverse psychology.

I think Greg will be fine. He's been the only consistenly good starting pitcher this team has had this year.

Its a good thing I'm at work, as I would have hated wasting money or time to watch that. Seriously, when are we going to sue the Cubs organization for mental cruelty?
