No argument on Girardi. I find I can't root against the Marlins even when we play them, because I have respect for Joe.

When the Cubs come on TV, I no longer associate Van Halen's "Jump" with the team. I now associate Phil Colin's song "I don't care anymore"

I don't think that Kerry Wood and Steve Stone in the same clubhouse is a recipie for success. Good point. Still, it seems to me (mind you I'm often wrong) that Stone has a good mind for the game.
