    You cannot be serious. Yeah, it was sort of stupid, but he was fired up. Barrett grabbed him and slugged him. I lost a lot of respect for Barrett. Yet you still have respect for AJ, right? :roll: Did he slug a player in the face? Also, how does AJ know the ball is not even close? I don't think it was right, but saying he deserved it is laughable. Besides the fact that AJ is a complete clown, and deserves a few more of those, he deffinately was out of line. If you played for the Cubs right now, you would be very fusterated too.

    Hot shot to third, Ramirez didn't glove it right away, awkwardly stepped on third to barely get Iguchi, then Mabry had to pick the throw out of the dirt. Makes me glad I'm not watching.

    Despite his current effort, I am sure Matt could be a 280/350+/750 guy in a few years. His ceiling might be 15-20 homers.

    They'd kill to have Maddux or Wood. They can have any combo of Jones, Walker, Williamson or Maddux for Cano. I'd do it.

    Walker Murton D. Lee C. Lee Ramirez Barret Pie Cedeno This could be the team next year. This would be a huge offensive improvement, while keeping the rotation in tact ... Zambrano Wood Prior Marshall Miller/Guzman/Hill/Williams. Get rid of Rusch, Blanco, Bynum, and Neifi (if possible). If one of those has to stay, fine. ONE of those.
