    If they're honest with themselves they already know it I just sent an e-mail requesting that Hawk be replaced with an old jockstrap. I sent them one regarding their comment about AJ hitting Barret harder then he hit him, which is oviously crap. Plenty of expletives.

    Showing it didn't hurt after fighting the guy and doing something to him is one thing, but yeah, that was so lame. What a wimp. I also don't see anything admirable about his teamates coming to his defense and tackling Barrett. If you are a man, you fight one on one or not at all. Can't blame the teammates. That's what they're supposed to do. But if you watch the replays you'll see AJ get clocked and then he just backs out of the situation while his teammates go after Barrett. Yeah, at least the Cubs players were out there too. I just have strong feelings about it because I was involved in a fight where one guy started a fight with me for pretty much no reason by coming up from behind me and punching me in the head. I responded by turning around and landing about 10 unanswered alternating hooks to the left and right temple. He responded by calling out for one of his friends to help him restrain me and the other to kick and punch me. I went from starting to pulverize one guy to getting the crap beat out of me by three. AJ's actions showed he is a female sex organ, and I despise men with that quality. Owned.

    I personally loved the 2003, 2004, and 2005 teams. Say what you will about 2004, but it was fun. This team? Pathetic. The flash of brilliance at the first week just makes you sick right now to even think about it.

    He's not very smart because his team has been sucking, showing no life, his team is getting the crapped kicked out of them by the in city rival and he gets barrelled over and knocks the crap out of the person that barrelled him over? So Barretts a jerk, but AJ's not for slapping the plate like an idiot? I think it was great, Barretts the only one on this team that gives a crap. I've been in a few fights in my life so does that make me a jerk, Iq of about 50? What did you want him to do? If he just took it and didn't act like anything was the matter, people would be jumping on him cause he didnt' show any fire.. I don't get it.. 1. The rundown play. 2. The run-in with Oswalt. 3. The fight with AJP. 4. The incredibly dumb called pitches. 5. The impatience at the plate. 6. The quotes in the press. The guy is a dim-witted moron. So he hits 270 every year, big deal. He still sucks, and he is not a long-term solution, contract notwithstanding. I'm sure you will be happy with Blanco catching every day next year, or a catcher that doesn't have a 800+ OPS. Barret is the best hitting catcher in the NL, and were complaining? He is one of the few bright spots on the team right now.

Don't the Sox lovers have something better to than hang around a game thread at a Cubs board? Not enough Sox fans that know how to read and write to have your own board? Actually, I don't enjoy WSI. I enjoy the conversation on this board and feel like there aren't many MLB boards better than this one. Very intelligent baseball talk. Bu t den agin aye kent reed o writ. How dare a Sox fan forsake the name of Kent.

    Exactly. In the replays, Barrett is the first one to say anything. He needs to learn to shut his mouth and play. He tries, but the Cubs don't need guys to talk, they need guys to play ball. hahaha you need a tissue? Exactly. This is a mens sport, AJ wants to talk trash? He's gotta man up.
