Thats pretty cool although that kinda makes you think twice about buying an Oswalt Jersey or something. Does it apply for shirts from the opposing team? It is a Brewer promotion. Just Brewers apply.

Watching the Brewers/Astros game. They have an excellent promotion. But a players T shirt at their store in the stadium and if that player hits a home run that game, you receive an autographed bat from that player.

well Carroll was hitting like .180 so it is not like he was a good hitter or anything. he's not, but you still have a guy behind him who's pretty much an auto out. If he hacks away he may GIDP. If not, you get Taveras up with two outs, and the bunt isn't a great option since the guys at all the other bases have to beat out a throw. taking a big chance with intentional walks when the pitcher is having control problems. I think with tonight's Lilly even that might backfire.

Overall, they seem to like the idea of acquiring Jacque. But, then again they have to figure if they're trading with the Cubs they're getting a good deal.

I think you will be dissapointed. In order for the Cubs not to pay a major portion of his salary, Hendry will have to weave a lot of magic. Something I don't think he's capable of doing.
