  1. It'll be a stretch of my imagination, but I'll step out on a limb and believe that you got wasted. Now believe me, I'm on my way out to do the same. WOOOO FREAKIN HOOOO!!!! Wow that waws a terrible setnece. I'm still drunk and all but wow, my apologies. I'm Yeti v2. Try again!
  2. How can we forget? We have our Bob Walk bobbleheads on our mantlepieces to remind us.
  3. I just think that because Salty is so high profile (beyone the fact that he is good) the Cubs would have to give up too much. Another interesting avenue would be to approach Seattle. For those that don't know, the Mariners have a good young catching prospect at AAA who is essentially stuck there because they have Johjima. Jeff Clement - 24 years old Numbers this year at Tacoma: ABs - 261 AVG - .284 HR - 14 OBP - .371 SLG - .533 OPS - .903
  4. Soto would be an upgrade. He just hit his 11th home run in Iowa tonight. Soto would be an upgrade. I still would like to get Salty. Do the Braves have a CF coming up the ranks? In order to get Salty, I would imagine that Schuerholz would look to get Pie & pitching. Pie obviously is not enough for Salty so the Cubs would probably have to include someone along the lines of Marmol or possibly Marshall. Salty for Pie & Marmol - I wouldn't do it. Salty for Pie & Marshall - I'd take this trade.
  5. Wow, that's quite a large avatar. It's as if Matt Murton is actually in my house.
  6. Here's an article from Baseball America that mentions the Frontier League among a few other leagues. I completely forgot that Danny Almonte was in the Frontier League. http://www.baseballamerica.com/today/minors/features/264405.html
  7. And another stolen base for Pierre.
  8. Right now you just have to hope that when Bowen is playing, he draws walks since he has shown that he can be patient. And with Koyie, hopefully he can come through with the big hit here and there because I can't see much more happening. And I would love to see Soto also, but I guess that won't be happening since Hill is out of options.
  9. Annual? Even the Cubs garner more than just an annual win.
  10. This one has got to hurt. Hopefully it leaves a mark  FWIW, on the Brewers' fan site, they seem pretty confident about Sheets going tomorrow. They were a bit upset with the Braun called strikout, but did acknowledge that the Cubs were getting bad call by Froemming also.
  11. So, the Brewers had five hits after the first inning(I think) and scored no runs. I fear they are just going to put on a hitting clinic tomorrow.
  12. Shouldn't that be spelled "l-a-r-g-e a-s-s"? Touche' Nice play.
