Asmodai, Since you follow the minors, what's your thoughts on Jeff Clement from Seattle's AAA who is blocked by Johjima? I mention this as possibly a bit cheaper acquisition to Salty/McCann. Even though I know this would never come to fruition.

Oddly enough I feel safer with LaTroy in as opposed to Jorge Julio. Well......phew.......maybe not. Braun was close there.

Yeah, he put it on the warning track. He hit it well. I think I would have [expletive] myself if Tony Gwynn Jr. would have actually hit it out. Jorge Julio scares me. Just one inning please.

I think it's for a week or two. I order it so I can watch the Cubs, seeing as I live in South Carolina, but I also enjoy watching other teams play, and hearing their announcers. July 18th is the last day.

Gameday showed it as being a HR by a good margin. Gotta love gameday. outfielder climbed the wall and then jumped 30 feet up to make the grab. Speaking of which, does anyone remember a certain catch at Tiger Stadium in the late 80s? They had that scoreboard in left right along the fence, and on a real high fly, some guy climbed up and stood on top of it to take away a homer? That's one of my early baseball memories (probably saw it during the NBC game of the week) I think I know the game you're referring to. It was Monday Night Baseball on ABC and it was against the White Sox. Ivan Calderon made the catch.

I agree, though I don't mind the occasional former Cub singing it. I'd throw in the occasional local high school state champ teams. Not that they're good at it or anything, but just a nice perk for them.
