  1. He started ranting first about the medical staff saying that all these picthers come up here and within weeks they are on the DL. He also ranted that once they are on the DL they fall off the face of the world and he said in not so many words to stop lying about all the injuries and the return dates You wouldve had to listen to him rant about jones before, there was just the latest thing. I agree with EVERYTHING he says though, Jones plays sloppy baseball, getting caught off second a few times, throwing the ball all over the place cost us a lot of runs possibly, and he said it perfectly, "its not like Jacque jones scares anyone" a handful of times? it happens at least 2 times a week, and there is absolutley no excuse at getting doubled off a base more than 2 times in a yaer, jacque is on what now, 6 or 7 after yesterday This is all Hendry's fault with his stupid "he can catch the ball" bs. If I hear that one more time out of his mouth I don't know what I'll do. It's ridiculous! Not to excuse Jones but, I wonder how much of this sloppy play is a function of Dusty' not holding veterans accountable for they're poor play approach? Has anyone seen Jones play as Twin? From what little I've seen of Twins they play smart, alert Baseball. Kap has long ranted about holding players accountable namely jones and aram
  2. heres your reasons http://img431.imageshack.us/img431/3393/dustybakerbw6.jpg http://img411.imageshack.us/img411/6606/309201fh2.jpg
  3. Aram would be a HUGE loss if he goes keep Lee Zambrano Wood (1 year to see if he can close cause dempster is crap) Marmol Marshall Theriot Izturis Howry Eyre Aardsma trade everyone else
  4. Judging on lack of common sense total of money spent yes this team is the worst ever

  6. Wow..I wonder if that guy will be getting his pink slip today. Thats not walking the company line for sure They wouldnt fire Kap and yes the rant was glorious Will Caroll went on to talk about he would like to know what the plan is, what are they going to try to get.
  7. i agree and i think him opening his mouth about everything is poking hendry in his belly
  8. i have the same feeling that he wont finish the season out
  9. ever since his wife had the kid, he has sucked
  10. According to BP's MORP stat, we're already overpaying for Aramis. Much as I'd hate to see him go, I wouldn't have minded trading him for top offensive prospects as I don't think we're contending in 2007 anyway. That said, even from ownership's perspective, it is a good idea to overpay if it means a playoff run. The extra revenue produced from postseason play (not just ticket sales, mind you) more than pays for some big contracts. Some of the big budget teams understand that. The Yankees in some recent seasons weren't built to break even until postseason. id rather have Aram who has proven to produce 100+ RBI and 30+ home runs than a prospect that could be nothing
  11. i am soooooo glad they dont play this crap music at Wrigley
  12. its Muskat, what do you expect
  13. Is it just me... or would it have made more sense to have Bynum up to try and hit earlier... and Z up now to sacrifice? dust for brains
  14. hes never had a problem pitching when the game dsoent mean much
  15. He missed last nights game because of his new kid. and today
  16. seeing Friday is the 1st of Sept, its time to put the cubs shirts away and bring out the bears
  17. hughes just said Girardi too miss time becasue of the birth of his new kid
  18. The Yankees have this same rule and 26 rings and they aren't young players...
  19. hes payed well enough to go out there and perform regaurdless of when he pitched last
  20. He had the GIDP to get out of the game unscathed, but Cedeno/Bynum couldn't even get one. I doubt anyone would be throwing regular season games at this point anyways, but there's no proof for that. Why would Cedeno/Bynum/Dempster want to throw games? That makes no sense. It doesn't. I don't think anyone is throwing games. This isn't a good team. Dempster was never that good, last year was a fluke
  21. As in Kerry Wood? He's damaged goods, it's time to cut bait with him. Enough of these injury prone players who spend more time throwing towel drills than they do playing in a real game. id take the risk on him especially with a pay cut, the potential upside with him closing is worth a couple of million, i mean afterall we paid fantastic talent such as neifi perez and glendon rusch for more
  22. Hendry is a [expletive] but his dumbest move maybe not trying to get Woody as our closer afterall he was completely dominant when he was there before
  23. we have another month..I'm sure it will go even lower. we hit rock bottom a long time ago, now we are just be dragged across the rocks
