Wuertz for fire-putter-outter, whatever inning that may be. But I agree with the sentiment that he is our best relief pitcher. I definitely think that is more appropriate that closing.

Because blue will blow the call? no, because it's dumb. why? because there's a very low chance of success? Is that statistically true? no, but statistical truths are not relevent to this discussion How often are decisions made on a statistical basis with this organization? What I'm trying to get at is whether or not stealing third is a 'dumb' thing to do. It doesn't really strike me as being so. I would think that the success rate for stealing third is higher than it is for stealing second, which wouldn't make it that dumb. I'm just wondering if anyone has the stats to back it up either way.
